Everyone's Favourite Monster - Godzilla
In this entry we shall discuss Godzilla with the idea that he is an Anti-hero. This has been mentioned before but this time we will look at him in the sense that he is in fact the hero by accident and that the only reason he fights to save planet earth from other monsters is in fact because likes a good fight. Through out history there have been people who accidentally become heroes, and I put it that, that is what has happened to our giant friend
Everybody knows Godzilla and if you know him, you love him. How can you not? He's either stomping or destroying a city or he's saving it from some other mythical monster. Always, he's entertaining.When considering that Godzilla is in fact not religious in anyway and has more to do with entertainment then it may be, the social aspect of the on-going saga that can be considered as lifting his status to slightly religious. All major religions fulfil a certain amount of social interaction. Communities are formed under the banner of the subject matter of, in this case Godzilla this is the same as any other online community examples of which are www.dudeism.com . There are many different forms of religion, all however have a social aspect, which creates a community, and if you search online the Godzilla this is true of the great beast. And it is because of this social status that Godzilla is divine
